MindSkiller® Launches Strategic Partnership with Jewish House
Just a month after launching to the public, MindSkiller® is already off to a strong start with an upcoming partnership with Jewish House.
Founded in 1983 by siblings Anthony and Roger Clifford, Jewish House was first established to counsel individuals affected by drug and alcohol addiction. Over the years, the organisation has evolved into a pioneering force delivering crisis care to vulnerable community members, no matter their religious background.
Today, Jewish House offers a comprehensive range of services designed to provide individuals with the practical and emotional resources to rebuild a meaningful and self-sufficient life. This dedication to education and support aligns perfectly with MindSkiller's mission to enhance mental health literacy through a person-centred approach, innovative solutions, and increased accessibility.
By joining forces with Jewish House, MindSkiller® aims to create a supportive network of organisations that empower individuals to access the care they need. This partnership builds on a 12-year relationship between Rabbi Mendel Kastel, CEO of Jewish House, and Uspace, the young adult mental health service at St Vincent Private Hospital, where Dr Gary Galambos, founder of MindSkiller®, is the Medical Director.
"When MindSkiller® launched, a partnership with Jewish House felt like a natural evolution in our relationship," Dr Galambos reflects. "We felt it would be good for our social impact to build a strategic partnership and give free access to Jewish House, allowing them to onboard any of their clientele and staff so they can enhance their mental health literacy."
Rabbi Kastel, who attended the public launch event for MindSkiller® at the Sydney Theatre Company in September, also expressed his excitement for this new partnership."We at Jewish House are very excited to partner with MindSkiller®, and we have been working with Dr Galambos for many years," Rabbi Kastel says of the collaboration. "MindSkiller's new platform will be a game changer for our clients, their families, and our workers as it ties in nicely with our approach and provides the ability to be of great support beyond direct engagement."
Through this partnership, Jewish House will be featured in MindSkiller's PLUS registry, a service granting MindSkiller® users access to a personalised list of mental health tools, interventions, and organisations. The MindSkiller® platform will be incorporated into Jewish House's counselling services.Rabbi Kastel has also informed the MindSkiller® team that Jewish House is developing an app for patients to provide consent for their personal welfare choices. When released, this app will be included in the MindSkiller® PLUS service
"I am very impressed with how Jewish House wants to assist in the online world, as well as their amazing work in the community by providing refuge and assistance to people in need..." Dr Galambos concludes. "I am excited to be able to support the work of Jewish House while getting feedback on how MindSkiller® is working in the field."
